We have been keeping busy this week working on our learning targets. One of our learning targets is recognizing shapes/letters in our names/numbers. Below are pictures of students working as a team to create shapes and the letter Nn.
This week I introduced the letter people curriculum. This curriculum integrates letters with different subject areas. The student enjoyed meeting Mr. Nn and learning all about names. Here are some pictures of student's reading with Mr. Nn.
In these pictures student's are practicing book handling skills and taking picture walks. A picture walk is when a student uses pictures to figure out what the story is about.
